Pohlad Family Seeking $1.7 Billion To Sell Twins

The Pohlad family is seeking a sale price of at least $1.7 billion for the Minnesota Twins, but it is unclear what they intend to do if they can't find a buyer at that valuation. The Twins are renewing the sale process after Justin Ishbia decided not to buy the franchise and instead increase his minority stake in the Chicago White Sox.

The Twins have accrued in excess of $425 million of debt, according to multiple people briefed on the sale process, which is one of the highest figures among MLB’s 30 teams.
